Not long ago I purchased a tub of TOBS grapefruit shave cream. I can't believe how good that stuff smells! Anyway, I was bummed that they don't make a companion aftershave for it. I've been searching and scouring reviews. I called Razor Emporium to ask about their Citrus aftershave splash and balm and was told the primary citrus scent in it was grapefruit. I decided to give it a try, but to my disappointment, it smells nothing like grapefruit. I stumbled across Ariana and Evans Pamplemoose, Pamplemoose being the French word for grapefruit, and thought I'd give it a try. It's not an exact match, but to my schnoz it's pretty close, just being slightly more "tart" in scent, if that makes sense.
Anyway, just wanted t share my thoughts in case anyone else here might be looking for a companion aftershave for their TOBS grapefruit shave cream, or any other grapefruit shave cream that might not have an aftershave companion.
