Recently I visited somewhere far from home and I was feeling like a good cigar. But alas I could not find a shop. So I turned to the App Store and low and behold there was a cigar shop locator app. Named CigarShopLoc by chance. It is a pretty primitive app but it got me directions to a shop and fixed my cravings. Although it does not tell you whether or not there will be fixins for a pipe, it does give you the phone number to call so I guess it could be used for both needs.

Does anyone use any tobacco apps?

thats the only app i use also, but i have seen a cigar journal app to help u keep track of your thoughts on a smoke

I like "Cigar boss" on iphone... decent reviews, and has shop locations, but not where I live.
I used "tasting notes" for a cigar journal. its listed for wine, but has beer and cigar sections.

I have "Amateur de cigar" it is a free electronic cigar magazine published from France in English.

i realized that too after i dled it....didnt even see partagas on there! But pretty decent for NCs

I use "RateMyCigar". It's decent, but the app/database hasn't been updated in 3 years.

I'd be more interested in a store locator than a review/rating app. I checked out the app I assume the OP refers to:

I tried their online search and it is pretty good for my area. But it doesn't list a couple of local liquor stores with decent walk-in humidors. Still it is something I would consider. I'll have to play around with other locations so see how it fares.
