To restore or to shelve it?

I 'd like to get some opinions on this.--------I just bought this today for $35.00 with the intent to clean it up and use it and "reupholster" the case. My logic is that the case is in such bad condition and the handle has the hairline crack up by the head, that it couldn't really hurt any value, BUT the cool factor is still there and it is still useable. However, once "BRASSO'ED", it can't be undone. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

This is an Old Type Brownie set. Since these sets can be picked up cheaply in great condition, personally I wouldn't bother. You could try some metal polish on the razor, and it might shine up, but the case is toast.

+1. Clean up the razor and use it, but the case is a lost cause.
