Thiers-Issard brushes

Is anybody familiar with the Thiers-Issard brushes? If it weren't for the Shavemac #436 I just purchased from Rik, I would be very tempted to give these a try. They certainly look very promising. Unfortunately, rather expensive too.

I purchased the one with 26 mm knot. The handle is genuine blond horn, and looks/is identical to those of Rooney style 3. The badger hair is also very similar to that of Rooney super. The loft is relatively densely packed. The brush was in a red cardboard box ;on the box the text: "handmade in France"....

But i wouldn't be suprised if the brush was made by Rooney for TI.

What i do like is the fact that the handle is genuine horn, whereas the Rooney handles are faux horn.

That's it - I do love the fact that the handle is genuine horn! Maybe Rooney Super grade hair?

If I didn't have a brush this would probably be a top candidate for purchase
