Perhaps brass is for lovers, not fighters.

I'd really like a natural and even patina, but the water slots are a pain, even when taking razor apart and wiping after every use.
So, I take Fitz to it and it easily takes the water spots out in less than three minutes, and restore the polished beauty look, but it also makes me start over on the patina process.

Thanks guys for the comments. This is not natural patina, I guess I would have to wait 300 years the get something like this. I acelerated the process submerging it for 10 minutes in this product.

That's an idea of what ammonia results are. This isn't waxed or lacquered.

Here's my Charcoal Goods Everyday razor. I also used brass ager. After I got the look I wanted i applied protectaclear to preserve the finish.
