Nope, it sure doesn't suck! I'm on my 2nd bottle and I've figured out that the longer it sits in the glass after pouring, the more port cask comes out. Water is another thing to try with it which brings out more flavors.
Revisiting this…View attachment 914139 Picked up my first bottle of Vintage Port - Graham's 2011. I will open it in 2023; may be premature, but I can't wait! Apparently 2016 was a great year for the Douro, and the declaration of a vintage year has been made. The Port has been in casks and is being bottle this year. I hope to get a bottle or two and let it sit a decade or so. I am no aficionado, but I am learning.
