The Real Shave Company new formula?

Ive been using The Real Shaving co. moisturizing shave cream in my rotation for a few months now and I really love it. I get it at Rite-aid and have noticed that they seem to be clearing out all the Real Shave Co products. The prices went from $9 then down to $5 and now on sale for $3 a tube. Is there a new formula coming out or is Rite-aid discontinuing the product line?? I found this site http://www.bargainbeautyshop.com/vgm_category.aspx?category_id=9 at TRSC's website and the packaging looks like it has changed. Anyone have any info? It would be a shame if this cream was no longer locally available. Its the only really good cream i can get locally without spending 5x more at AOS or driving 30min into NYC.

I'm pretty sure the formula has changed. I was in Duane Reade recently and saw the new formula there for $5.99. Now they just have one "type" of shave cream called "traditional" instead of the old "moisturizing" and "sensitive". The new formula contains either almond or sesame oil, I don't remember. They have also downsized to 125g tubes instead of the old 150g tube.

I'm not sure if RiteAid will continue to carry the line or not. I'll check a local RiteAid when I get a chance.

From what I hear, Creightons is manufacturing for RSC.

Based on the histories of other UK shaving brands that Creightons manufactures(d), I would expect all kinds of different results.

Does anyone know if TRSC products are still $2.99 at Rite Aid? They were a week ago, though it wasn't advertised. I bought some after shave balm and was pleasantly suprised when it rang up as $2.99. The shelf didn't even have any sale price on it.

Yes they are! Just picked up one each of the moisturizing and the sensitive cream for $2.99 each. Didn't look for the ASB, though.

I'm actually optimistic about the new formula. The added natural oil will increase slickness and glide, I think. The old formula Body Shop cream had sesame oil in it and that's probably one of the reasons why it works so well.

I was at Rite Aid today and saw tubes of Real Shaving Company shaving creams (Sensitive and Moisturizing), tubes of shave gel, tubes of aftershave balm and a tube of something else I can't remember. They all had price stickers of $4.99. I figured I'd buy one Moisturizing shaving cream to try. At the register it rang up at $2.99 . There was no new or different product on the shelf (yet).

Just picked up a few tubes of the moisturizing cream at Rite-aid for $2.99 so the sale is still on, but hurry I bought the last few tubes at my local stores.
