Help!!! My five brush home routine expanded to six when unfortunately I got the Rudy Vey Rubberset type Manchurian group buy brush I bought for my then 91 year old father back in February. Five was fine for home use, six is also fine. Do I really need a seventh? Or should I take my Simpson Classic 2 out of the rotation? Help!!

I’m pretty sure it is against the B&B Charter to call any quantity of the same shaving items that totals less than the days of the week a “collection” or “rotation”. I believe it is good form to refer to your 6 brushes as a “Travel Kit”, “smattering”, “sampling” or similar.
Just think how awesome it would be get to a collection or rotation with the 2021 B&B Beagle Group Buy...it would be the stuff of legend!

I could not help myself. My favorite brush is 2018 B&B LE Rudy Vey with a Shavemac 2 band silvertip knot. I have wanted but never owned a butterscotch brush, so I had to do it. I use a soap through a complete brush rotation or currently six days in a row and then may or may not repeat the soap. I'm still not convinced that I want to change to a seven brush rotation as that would be the same brush on the same day of the week and a weekly change in soap might also be too "orderly". Please don't tell me to order the black/brown brush also and go to an eight brush rotation.

Indeed eight is the correct number for a small rotation because then your rotation rotates.

I was all set to go with the butterscotch bulb, but then I noticed that I could get the same knot in the butterscotch beehive handle for not much more money. I've always wanted a beehive, so unless I'm missing something I'm going to go with the Beagle configuration in a beehive handle.
How about you can get a beehive anytime?
Fair enough, but I have always wanted a beehive, and while I have more brushes that I need already and am getting ready to buy another, it's not likely that I would buy both a beagle and a beehive.
