in that case you probably don't have anything to worry about. You only need to worry if there is play in the tto knob when the doors are fully closed.

I think you would have no trouble scoring a minty one for how much it would cost to replate. The floppy doors aren't a problem. I think its actually very common on old gillettes, as I have very few with doors that work 100% as they should. But as a shaver, it is in perfectly good shape
