I just wanted to say thanks to all of you on here!
After years of rubbish shaving, with your help its been transformed!
I think I have had the best shave of my life today... not perfect, but not far off I dont think!
The information and comments on here have been so helpful in achieving it! My collection is getting a little bigger.
I currently shave using
Wilkinson Sword classic razor - very cheap but seems ok to start
Blades that came with the above
Real shaving company scrub, and moisturizer
Proraso green pre shave (first time today ....
it certainly woke me up!)
I have just had some Personna blades arrive - I have not tried them yet
New purchases due shortly when funds allow will be:
Merkur 38c barber pole razor in chrome
a new brush (the one suggested on my other thread about brushes!)
I just need to get some form of Allum block and then I think that I will be sorted for the time being....
