Thank you nole1 - Allen Edmonds Clifton Help

nole1 (Brad) mentioned on this site how he purchases the Allen Edmonds Clifton shoes and I searched them up and found them to my liking. Well I contacted Brad asking him a few questions and he was kind enough to send me pictures of him wearing the shoes as well. So when the recent Allen Edmonds sale came I pulled the trigger on the Clifton in burgundy and Park Avenues in black. Well we all know about the Park Avenues but the Clifton are beautiful. I went with my usual 10D size and they fit like a GLOVE. I haven't worn the Park Avenues yet but I really like the 8-108 last of the Clifton.

Here is a shot of me wearing them today with Pantherella OTC navy pindot socks. Love this combo. I do need to polish them though. The burgundy color is beautiful and SO versatile. I think it will go with anything.

I'm glad they worked out for you and that the Shoe Bank was able to help as well. They really are great shoes. I love my parks and 5th aves but these have a look I prefer for everyday wear (I work in a business casual office where a tie would be considered dressing up). I have a slightly wider foot but not enough to need and E. Its nice the way the upper shapes at the laces so the shoe doesn't look like an over-stuffed sausage after it's tied.

Yep these are great as they aren't as formal as the Park Avenues.
