What's new

Tell me I'm not the only one who shaves in their dreams...?

Seriously... different soaps, razors, techniques...
After 4 months of DE I'm switching over to straights,
and all I do at night is work on my technique on my right cheek.
I even hear the 'ping' if the whiskers coming off...

And I have to say, I think it's working...

Had the same experience when I was studying Spanish 5 days a week...

The shaving soap got on the sheets, blood was all over the pillows, and it was too inconvenient to rinse the razor. Now I only shave when I am awake and in front of a mirror.

Well, I once had a dream in which two English girls were lathering me up with GFT Coconut shaving cream... I don't recall either one having a razor, though.

No, but I do have to admit daydreaming about our good habit during a sermon. And no, it wasn't a sermon about Samson. :001_rolle

I once had a dream that i was being chased by a badger to return its hair... Funny, thing is I woke up and shaved with a boar brush that morning

Well i had a dream of cutting my face up real bad in front of the mirror, i vaguely remember putting massive amounts of pressure on my face with a DE or shavette(there was lots of blade and little razor either way)...massive amounts of blood and large, deep cuts..what you would expect really, it was actually mixed in with some sleep paralysis. What that signifies in the real world i don't know, but i have never had a dream of simply having a really good shave.

I do it all the time, and then I bore my 14 month old daughter by telling her what set-up I am going to use on my next shave or the benefits of tallow soap hoarding, whilst on the way to day care.

I had a dream one time that I had a huge den and I would go in there and just lather up different soaps and use different brushes. I had to laugh at myself after waking up. I even have RAD in my dreams!

I dream about shaving Halle Berry. Does that count?

I'm going to go to bed tonight thinking about her after a relaxing shave just to try and have this dream. :blushing:

And just to clarify, I mean me shaving Halle Berry, not me having a dream of Slash shaving Halle Berry. :glare:

Yeah, I hate to admit it, but I do.

Mostly I plan what the next shave is going to be, and fall asleep thinking about Tabac coupled with the Vege.

Old thread, but with new science!

new-study-shows-how-sleep-helps-improve-learning

"...Then the researchers woke them up. An hour later they asked the subjects to perform the task.A control group of six other subjects did not sleep after learning the task, but were also asked to perform it four hours later.
The researchers found that the subjects who had slept did the task faster and more accurately than those who did not...."

While asleep, your brain continues to consolidate information and even practice things that you have learned throughout the day. Crazy.
