Tech, New, Old

I just won one of each in an auction for $15 shipped and wanted to know which to start with. I've been shaving with my Slim mostly and pretty comfortable with the process, but tend to keep it on the mild side (about a 3).

I've heard conflicting reports on the aggressiveness of the New. Some folks say that it is very mild. Others report that it is ultra agro. I suspect that might have to do with your own personal attitude toward open combs.

Any advice?

If you like it mild, go with the Tech first.
