Tea at the Empress

My sister went to The Fairmont Empress Resort Hotel Victoria, BC, Canada a couple of years ago and brought back with her two boxes of Tea Named "Tea at the Empress".

I discovered the tea sitting in the pantry some 18 months ago and never bothered to try them. Just recently after deciding I was tired of coffee, I cracked a box open. Brewed a two cup pot and had at them. It was all I could do not to chug them like beer. What a fantastic flavour this tea has.

The problem I am having now is there are only a few bags left. I need more, but I don't want to have to special order them from Canada... I live in Florida. I have tried to research the composition of this blend but have yet to find anything close.

So my question (A long Shot at best) has anyone here had this tea? If so is there a Tea that is close to or comparable to this "Tea at the Empress"?

Thanks for your time.

This looks like a custom blend made for that Fairmont hotel by the Metropolitan Tea Company.

Here is some info. I suspect that they sell this tea so I'd recommend calling Guest Services and asking for some.

Yes, thanks... I was wondering if there was something close to it available commercially?

The Empress blend is a selection of seasonal, quality teas, created exclusively for The Fairmont Empress by the Metropolitan Tea Company. With components from:

Assam (thick malty and full bodied),
Kenya (floral-like flavor and a golden coppery infusion),
South India (superb fruity and sprightly flavor),
Ceylon (airy, almost piquant flavor),
and China (burgundy depth with light oaky notes), it is truly one of the finest blends in the world.
