Talc, how to use it?

Today i had a bottle of Clubman talc but i really dont know how to use it and where to apply it.
Can i apply it by hands or do i need necessarely a brush?
Your advice would be apreciated, thanks.

I use my hands to put it on my face. After the shave I use an alum block and after that I put on some talc (Old Spice Original).

Apply to: feet, crotch, armpits. No need for a brush - dust it on and rub it in.

I use a brush something like this one.

I find it spread s nice even coat of powder and spreads less of it around the room. The sock idea is good, too. I have had traditional Marvy brand barbers neck dusters in various shapes. None seemed very effective to me.

Just shake powder down the the top of it and bump the base to ge the powder down into the brush.
