Taking delivery of creams/soaps in winter

I live in Northern Alberta. From now til March it is very cold with most days -0Celcius, -32F. Temps can dip to -30C. I am planning on ordering from ItalianBarber. All soaps and creams. During the day I am not home and typically the courier companies just leave any packages in the mailbox. Is there any danger to these creams/soaps if they are left out in the cold for about 5 hours?

I would of emailed ItalianBarber. Something could expand and break or seperate depending on what you all order.

I had the same concern and emailed WCS after my order(no liquid aftershaves or anything). They assured me that they've very rarely really seen products damaged from the weather. They also encouraged me to contact them if there are any problems. For future reference, i would suggest contacting the retailer beforehand with your concerns.

I would think you have to worry about soaps/creams being left in the heat much more than in the cold. I could be wrong though (and most likely am).

My last after shave purchase was frozen in transit. Damaged. The AS expanded and pushed the lid up. Big, nice smelling spill. I'd say make do with Proraso from Shoppers Drug Mart until spring. Make a big order before next winter.
