Been using the T&H Silvertip Badger for a week now. It does a great job of whipping up lather and feels great on my face.

Damn, this is the one that everyone is recommending I buy in my thread....I may have to pull the trigger on this darn thing...
Have you noticed if it has started to fan out or bloom at all? That's one of the main reasons I want something besides my Penworks silvertip. I've decided that I'm a soap man and I want something with a good backbone that won't blossom out so I can use it on hard soaps. And the silvertip will still be soft on my face
The 1/1 is a fantastic soap brush...
EDIT: BE warned though that T+H has raised the prices in the "1" models... 1/1 now $89, 1/2 $99 and 1/3 $109, so it might be the same cost the Rooney Super for the 1/1

After a few uses it fans out beautifully but still has backbone to it. Works great with soap or cream or both. It holds a tremendous amount of lather and feels so good going on.

I noticed that too. The price of their version of the 3/1 Super Silvertip is up to $109. Even with the discount, it can be had for +$15 less at other reputable vendors.
The discount code BB10 is still an awesome deal for the creams, aftershaves and colognes.
