How do you store - or travel with - a pasted paddle strop without Cr2O3 (or whatever...) rubbing off and getting all over the place? I've been looking at a couple of paddles - one that fits nicely in a case, and another with no case.

What do you do here - just plunk it down in a drawer at home, or wrap it up in a ziplok freezer bag or something for travel? I'm easily confused.

The 4-side paddle block that I bought from Martin at www.rasurpur.de came in a cardboard sleeve that I use to protect it.

I put my travel strop in a bag before I roll it so that it doesn't get the other side contaminated.

I'm sure that would work for a paddle as well.
