Summer Colour Inks, What are you guys using

Love the PR orange crush myself... not only cause a cold OC is great on a hot day, but because its a great summer colour


What is everyone else loading into their pens this summer ?

I like Lamy Turquoise with the crazy amounts of shading I get for it. Kinda reminds me of water and beachy stuff.

Same ol' same ol' blues and blue-blacks. Safe and sane.

I did have a Pelikan M200 inked with J.Herbin Rouge Hematite last month, love the gold on red. More of an autumn thing in my opinion, though.

Turquoise does seem summery and tropical.

I am just using Sanford PenIt Washable Royal Blue in my M200. I fear it will be gone by the end of summer. I will replace it with Pelikan Royal Blue when I do. Of course, come Christmas time, my coworker's friend from Germany will be coming over, and I might change to Pelikan Blue-Black, if I can get him to bring some.

Didn't really think of it as a switch due to summer, but just changed over to Diamine Ancient Copper with a Lamy 1.5mm nib on Clairefontaine paper. First time using it (sample from Goulet) and really like the shading I get on it. I like the way all my Diamine samples have performed, just wish they were a bit more water resistant.

I'm just about to get some more ink for my Metropolitan. Are there are brands that can damage it or is it all safe game?

Usual blues and blacks mostly, with the occasional purple or brown. The weather may have changed, but the same colors are still easy on the eyes.

Diamine Mediterranean Blue. Fantastic blue that pops without it being turquoise or dark blue.
