Stretched My Legs - Look What I Found.

I just took a travel break to stretch my legs and found this Travel Tech with a P3 date code. Because i have only seen a normal knurling, myquestion for the group is was this fancy knurling a special edition or just another option? I appreciate your input.

I think they switched to that knurling either with the switch to aluminum or soon after.

+1, must have been after they switched to aluminum, because I've only seen this type of pattern on aluminum handles. I've always thought the handles on these were too short to be useful, but luckily a wide range of handles can be used with the head.

I see these things everywhere, why can't Fatboys or Redtips be as common as these?!

That style was just another series, i seen those in 1970's set.

Thanks Alex, it is good to know what it is. I am not too proud to use it, but it could be a good one for my wife or daughter. For $8, I can't complain.
