Straight Razor help- The Moler

Hey guys, I picked up my first straight razor for $25 dollars today. Kinda curious if I made a smart buy. It's in great condition and the blade is really sharp.

One side says "THE MOLER" and the other says "Germany."

Any info on it is appreciated!

I can't help you with the identifying, but that's one gorgeous razor. I'm a bit jealous. I really like the scales, do you happen to know what they're made of?

Looks like you got a nice buy!
Those scales do not even need to be replaced and that blade should clean up nicely.

I think you did just fine. But please don't try to shave with it. Although it may feel sharp, it no doubt is far from shave ready.

You may want to send it off for polishing and honing.

+1 There is no pinning at the wedge end, so it's either cemented in there, or the scales are 1 piece. Very nice score!
