Those are all extremely rare, expensive and almost mythological razors, especially the 31 in tortoise scales. I hope you didn't kill someone to get them, did you? If you actually did I most confess that it bothers me that I can't decide on whether such a deed would be justified or not. These arrived today...the MK31 was sadly traded away, and in a bizarre twist of fate and insane trading it has come back to me, which makes me extremely happy! I honed up the Zwillingswerk 14 today, and it’s passing the HHT all along the edge. I will give it a whirl tomorrow.

I feel your pain. Four years ago my wife finally lost her long struggle against cancer and left me and our young son. Time heals, but it doesn't take away the scars. Sometimes a grand razor, like your new TI, can bring some light into the darkness. If not, the shaving ritual certainly does. My name is Arne.
Thank youVery sorry for both of your losses.
Did you buy it from a turnip truck driver? You did very well my friend unless there is hidden damage the photos are not picking up!I will admit I am not familiar with straight razors pricing or buying since I only owned one till now and have only shaved once with one but I found this while out and about today only paid $15 not sure what they run but hopefully I did well and got a good razor with out over paying
it would be nice to know if I did well or not and to know more about the razor
Unless some one sees something I’m missing the only issues I see are in the picture on the back of the blade the light scuffing when I saw it and it looked like it does and not like the cracked and chipped blades I usually see out I had to buy itDid you buy it from a turnip truck driver? I looked for a hone/honing acquisition thread but there did not seem to be one. Yet this gigantic beautiful hunk of Nakayama had to be shared. I'd like to think this will be the end all be all hone for me, but I'm sure I'll eventually pick more up. This stone is over 3 pounds, 8"x3" and last but not least , over an inch and half thick. Very hard, easily handled a full Mikawa progression and a few of my tougher Tomos. Got it in the mail today.

This is barber's name who seems to have been an influential barber before the 80's and also wrote a technical book.
And I envy your beautiful Cape Kennedy '77
Where do you guys find these things?I didn’t need another razor, but.... I added this Heljestrand MK32 to my MK33 and MK6. Anyone else out there using their straights more than their DEs during this quarantine?
