Sterling Silver Safety Razor

Decided to share my latest acquisition with all of you. This is a Sterling Silver razor, marked Reyna, made in Mexico. Shaved with it this morning after cutting a shim out of an old Derby blade. Loaded with a Feather, I got an easy DFS with no irritation. Mildest shaver I have owned, and feels buttery smooth on the face.

The razor is a four piece with a small travel box, also Sterling. Because the razor is finicky to adjust, no pictures of it 'packed away' are up at this time. I will break it down and post in box pictures at blade changing time.

The pictures are all with my Fatboy to give you an idea of the size. Don't be fooled, this razor is about one and a half times as heavy as the Fatboy!

Hope you enjoy!

I honestly have no information at all about this razor. I liked it, offered (what I considered to be) a fair price, and bought it. There is no serial number, or info other than the maker's name and country of origin. This example was purchased in Indiana.

I have seen the Reyna sterling before. It went for a premium and should have based simply on silver content alone. Very cool sets.
