Sterilizing an Injector

Just bought a Schick injector from Ebay. Any ideas how to stelilize it without damaging the plastic handle or plating.
I know Scotto did a post where he placed it in boiling water. Has anybody tried this without any problems?

Remove the blade and soak in scrubbbing bubbles then scrub it good and a boiling water rinse.

you don't need to sterilize it, you need yo clean it. soap, hot water, done!

This should take care of everything on your metal razor and you will be good to go.

I entirely agree. Soap and water, if you're fairly thorough about it will be plenty.
