IIRC, Boellis shave soap went all "vegan" a few years back. But they saw the light and the current formula indeed has tallow.

This soap continues to leave my face feeling better than any other soap I have tried, and I have tried a number of them. The post shave feel is where this soap really is different from others.

It really is quite different than alot of options, definitely better than most for me.

I like the very mild scent. There is tons of slickness to the soap. The later is easy to make. I also like the post shave feel. While there is no scent to linger, it leaves my face feeling really good all day. The price is fine. All in all, I am definitely a fan.

I know, me too. Loved the soap except for the mild burning sensation on my skin. It's the benzaldehyde used for almond fragrance. Total bummer.
