What's new

Speaking of churchwardens.

Less than stellar, but one of the most comfortable stems available IMO, at least the black ones are.
Most definitely comfortable! I'm wondering about QC type issues; rough edges, whistling, etc. I'm hoping that they'll step up their game a bit on this new line of bits. Fortunately it's not a big issue since I have plenty of both Aftermarket and Original.

What I find interesting is that they start using vulcanite on churchwardens (exception being the freehand) because most people aren't going to be clinching these pipes. But, they're at a nice price point.

I wonder what the quality difference will be. Walker's stems are usually very good, and the current default bits for MM cobs are usually less than stellar.

I don't find them as comfortable as the Walker Briar Works but Customcorncobs.com has some very cheap offerings if you're looking for another option for acrylic.

I have one of the original MM churchwardens.
Great smoker .even after all these years
11 inches , 3mm tenon ,Glorioski, ya gotta love it
