The brush, soap, and AS hardly ever change for me anymore. The edge I managed to get from the Le Grelot doing a dilucot on my tiny Les Latneuses Coticule bout has been heavenly.

I got my new Akamatsu and had to take her to the stones to see how she would perform. Did 40 Circles and 20 X-Strokes on the 1K just to make sure the bevel was set then hit the 4k/8k. After the Nortons, I used my Nakayama Kiita with meijiro slurry and water then I hit the Nakayama Asagii with honzan slurry and water. I was a bit disappointed because the Livi did such a good job yesterday that I didn't think there was anything to shave. The Akamatsu, though, did it's job. It found what little bit of facial hair I had left and erased it! The shave was incredibly smooth and I was left BBS.

The post shave was just as luxurious with the incredible moisturizing of CarrieM's milk and it was all tied together with a bit of Montale!

Also making an appearance in today's SOTD is one of my cufflinks for today. It shows the kanji for "Ai" which means love. It was appropriate today because I am in love with the hardware and software appearing today!
