Quite the unified alignment, Erich. The tide may change soon.

Is the bronze Timeless growing on you, Josh?
Ron, I believe the Timeless is definitely growing on me. I have been giving it a fair shake to see if I wanted to keep it or move it on. It is such a smooth and efficient shaver. There is a lot of blade feel though so I may like it better with a couple days growth. It's fairly easy to find the correct angle and just as easy to get a BBS. I will use it the rest of the week and decide but I'm probably going to keep it.

Razor: Timeless Bronze .38
Blade: GSB (1)
Brush: Wolf Whiskers Bishop
Soap: Viking Shaving Longship
Post: Chatillon Lux Delor de Treget

My first time using the vegan offering from Viking and I didn't notice much of a difference between it and the tallow soaps. Ease of lather, slickness, residual slickness, cushion and post-shave were all very similar i.e., very good. The only difference would be with the density of the lather; I noticed that the tallow soaps have a denser lather but both types of soap perform near identical. I enjoy the Viking soaps and would like to see more of these in fellow member SOTDs. The Viking soaps are definitely under the radar.

Monday
Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep
Soap: TOBS Avocado Cream
Razor: Gillette Black Handle Flare Tip Super Speed
Blade: ASCO Red Box (Shave #1)
Brush: Knotsinyourhead/Whipped Dog Silvertip-20mmx48mm
Aftershave: Country Club Frozen Vetiver

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

TOBS Avocado cream today. 20 seconds to load the KIYH/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new ASCO Red Box in the Black Handle Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

How do you like the ASCO blades, Bob?

I'm glad it's turning out to be a razor to your liking, Josh. It is definitely one fine looking DE. If I didn't have way too many razors (including two Timeless) I would probably get one for myself.
