The Edwin Jagger was looking a bit neglected so I decided to see how if feels with a King C blade, which so far I’ve only used in the King C razor. A very smooth shave - almost effortless!

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Saponificio Varesino Two-band High Mountain Manchurian White Badger
Soap: Barrister and Mann 42
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 (2)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel; Myrsol Plastic Shave
Scent: Knize 10

A very Douglas Adams shave this evening. The soap scent is very interesting - the floral notes of the petunias, once passed through the Infinite Improbability Drive, morph seamlessly into Amberbris from a very surprised Sperm Whale. But of course, Arthur Dent would be mortified if tea where not present in the blend, and this note really seals the deal.

The P74 blade was just as sharp, but smoother on its second outing, as I often find with vintage blades, as a wee bit of stropping removes accumulated detritus from the edge.

I'm now heading out with Zaphod for a few cheeky Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters.

Pre: Hot Shower
Razor: Timeless 95
Blade: Euromax
Brush: Yaqi Pony Knot
Soap: A&E Kaizen
Post: A&E Kaizen Splash

The new kaizen base is excellent and along with the Timeless produced an amazing shave. The soap is quite thirsty and once dialled in, in my opinion is the best offering from A&E yet. Smell is excellent, best way I can describe it is a fresh citrus scent with a touch of sweetness.

Greetings,

The ST300 blade is another blade that has pleasantly surprised me throughout the week with its mild efficient smoothness.

Out of the two dorco blades i've used so far over the past two weeks then the Dorco prime platinum would be the winner because for it's was smooth & efficient longevity throughout each shave adding to that i feel as though i could have got 1-2 more shaves from the prime platinum, as today the ST300 was just starting to lose it's smooth edge on it's 4th outing but only by a small amount.

That said, regardless to the make of the blade i normally only use it for 2-4 shaves, SE blades 4-6 shaves max then it's binned. Anyway, all in all both blades have made a big impression on me and will be adding them more frequently to my blade rotation.

Next week i'll will be testing out the Lancet Super platinum blade another blade i've had for a while but have yet to try.

A pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Day ladies & gentlemen.
