So much they were presuming of their Lord yesterday in the group of Mexico that today mount the Lord Head in the handle UFO since the handle of the Lord makes me too light. And indeed as they mentioned it was a good shave, nothing aggressive and well flush in two passes in the direction of the hair. Of the brush, cream, after and balm already commented his performance that is excellent. Now if ready to start work. Good morning friends.

Awesome shave today.
I have discovered that adding water with the fingers turns otherwise dry foam into a slick yogurty lather. It rivaled even the best of my soap and cream lathers. It was slick to say the least. I will keep using this combo for the next few shaves... blade is performing well. It has lost its initial roughness, and is really smooth now. I will take it to its limit!

This Razor really blows my mind - I am using a tool built in the 40's and the blade lines up perfectly - the balance is spot on for me. And I really loving open combs - especially the way I lather - I love nice thick lather ( kinda like canned cream but thicker and the open comb works best. The long comb with the UBER sharp med prep is the perfect combo for me ;-)

Glad you like the performance of the razor. It took a while before I warmed up to open combs but now I find they can be exceptional shavers. This morning I shaved with the iKon OSS and it was the best I'd had with that razor. Most of the shaves I've had with vintage razors have been quite good. They certainly knew how to make a quality product.

Drink of the Night: Death Wish Coffee's "Valhalla Java Odinforce Blend"

Black Bergamot is another masterpiece from Catie's Bubbles. It's very smoky vetiver-forward with only hints of black pepper initially. As the shave progresses, bitter citrus comes through, but make no mistake, this is a Haitian vetiver dominant soap, and I very much enjoy it. The splash, however, lets the bergamot through much better, such that 2 hours later the bitter citrus has become the prevailing note with black pepper backing it up.
