Green, green, it's green they say ... and what support to The Veg! Neat picture, Chris, but I'm not sure whether to envy this shave or not. Too bad CBL's The Veg 3.0 isn't available. As I've said before, that's a fine looking razor. Love that brush handle. I have a thing for green.

Wonderful Monday morning so far, I had to work this weekend and I am off today and next week at this time we will be on vacation so the countdown has begun. XXX has become one of my go to favorites, out of the 7 or 8 RazoRock Soaps I have I like this one the best, it produces awesome slick lather and I love the scent. In continuing with trying to use more of my razors I used the Super Speed this morning, I really like the razor but it is very mild, which usually results in having to do numerous passes on the sides of my neck (which are my heavy areas), all in all there was only a small amount of irritation that was quickly put to rest with the balm. I'm still on the fence as far as finding my favorite blade, I really don't think I will ever find the "one", so far the best performing blades for me are the Gillette Nacette and Voskhod, out of all the blades that I have tried those seem to produce the smoothest, tug free shaves to date. I have some Persona lab blues coming in this week that I am looking forward to trying as I have heard good reviews.

The angle of this shot gives an interesting illusion of curvature, Chris. I really like your geometrical backgrounds. I've only shaved with XXX once; I should dig it out and use it again.

Route 66 Sweeney Todd today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I moved the Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus to the Black Handle Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Bulgari Man in Black EdT.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Frank Shaving ~ Synthetic .

Bowl Lather.

Cream : Erasmic ~ Lather Shave Cream .

Blade: Shark Super Stainless . (1)

Razor: Muhle R41.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block. / Alcolado Glacial ~ Mentholated Splash.

Aloe Vera Gel .

I've mentioned in previous SOTD posts on how much the Muhle R41 always performs with great efficiency, paired up with the shark s.s. today it gave me a effortless 3 pass +pick ups flawless shave with no errors to report..

A fantastic Razor/Blade combo, non-aggressive blades work really well in aggressive razors..Superb.

Finishing the shave off with very generous splash of my favourite "Face Freezer" Alcolado Glacial Mentholated Splash.

My face is feel silky smooth & very cool.
