Hi all.

Theme Week time again!

It's time to show some love for our supporting vendors all week if you can. Let’s see those Rudy Vey, Paladin, Simpson and Elite brushes, Captains Choice bowls and soaps, Above The Tie and Blackland razors, Tony Miller strops or maybe something you have bought from our friends at West Coast Shaving.

Be creative and have fun. THIS is mandatory. 👍

Sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory. Feel free to post any SOTD photo or just tell us about your shave.

Extra points and bragging rights for being creative!

Cracking shave this morning, nice easy 2 pass with the old, good a smooth irritation free finish.

a very pleasing shave with the Wizzie/Merkur combo, they don't 'wow' me like the Polsilvers, or the Platinums for that matter, but they are growing on me..

Very nice extra creamy and slick lather from this soap including the unique scent backed up by the matching balm...
This razor is just superb. Soft buttery smooth and very keen edge maintained only on 0.1um balsa and Kanayama. 3passes for a bbs-dfs finish...

Shaving from INDIA
Patanjali herbal shaving cream came as a total surprise. I did not expect it to be good. I thought what an ayurvedic company will know about shaving but bought it because it's literally half of the price most shaving creams. It makes good lather, makes it quick and slickness is great. This will be my go-to shaving cream from today. After my bad shaving week, this made my day

This time I went back to my usual blade + razor combination. Permasharp blade + Permasharp razor is where I have spent most of my time since the beginning of my DE shaving journey (2 months). This blade and razor are made for each other. This blade bites but because of my experience with it, I know how to handle it and hence no nicks, cuts, irritation or burn. Shaving with mild razors ain't no fun anymore. Gonna clean and store them and go for aggressive razors from today

Almost zero alum stings. Just a tiny bit around chin and jawline where I had to do 3 or 4 passes. Most of the face was so good that I could not even make out if I had put alum there

V MAT aftershave. Though it's no match for YARDLEY London, it does have good fruity fragrance with a mild spicy scent in the end. It stings a bit (quite less than the local aftershaves we get in India though). Liked the fragrance but not much moisturizing effect afterward. Had to use Patanjali Aloe-vera gel.

A relief after my Bad Shave Week
Keeping with the theme this week I'd like to announce that I just purchased a Rudy Vey Brush!! @Rudy Vey is hoping to have it made this week!! Super excited for my new brush to arrive!!

Mr. Vey is planning on
