Great shave. Coate's is odd: good lather, great performance, strange fragrance, not very pleasant. Not a hint of lavender.

QCS VOSTOK | FATBOY | PERSONNA | SEMOGUE 1800


This marks the first tie I have used a soap two days in a row since I started wet shaving(and have had more than one soap in my possession). The Vostok is that good. The shave today was even better than yesterday. Dialed the fatboy to 7 and it hit the sweet spot. Resulting in a BBS shave. Maybe the stars aligned correctly or it is just a magical combo, but the result of this shave was perfect.

The Red Tip was up again today, loaded with an Israeli Red Personna. I used the Figaro cream from Hungary. It is from the same folks that make the Barbon. They are both excellent creams! I finished up with the matching Figaro AS.
