Gentlemen,

May has arrived with a tremendous showing by you all. Let's keep it going. I'm starting out what will be an incredibly busy week with a moment of calm and serenity. The custom formulation Bomb shaving cream is a rose and sandalwood that is beyond luxurious. It is made with pure Ottoman Rose oil and genuine sandalwood EO. Both oils were purchased in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Al mixed them expertly and the cream leaves my skin so moisturized! It pairs with the Santal Noble incredibly well. Of course, in between, the Sprecher custom never fails to get the job done!

This week I will be using the Aristocrat until Friday as part of the B&B FB Group "Big Razor Review".

Todd had previewed his SOTD pic to me last night, I thought why not share some of the same products, so my shave is sort of a copy of his.

As much that I love aggressive razors there is something to be said over a nice Gillette TTO. This razor never fails to impress me with it's shave as well as craftsmanship. This one was brought back to life by Sam (Krona Kruiser). I know that collectors and purist would rather have a gold one in pristine condition, but I personally find it better looking in nickel than gold.

I love the Sandalwood Proraso but I am very sensitive to most sandalwood products. That being said, I find if I make my lather slightly wetter, bowl lather only and apply it like paint to my face that I can get an irritation free shave.

Three passes along with a few touch ups produced a very good DFS. The Clubman paired nicely, it was a perfect ending to a great shave.
