I've got some SIM shave cream (6 tubes to be exact). I've been waiting for my favourite e-tailer to get the aftershave back in stock for a few months. Last week (or maybe 2 now, I can't recall), I got an email from the e-tailer saying it's been discontinued (or maybe no longer available in Canada, can't recall exactly except he can't get it anymore). Can anyone offer a suggestion on a similar scent? I'm looking specifically for a splash. I don't care for the feeling of balms. Thanks

I wish I could help you! I haven't used the AS. A quick internet search came up with zip to help. I know it is a "green cyphre" scent. So you could look for frags in that category, especially ones that are heavy with oak moss.
Alpa 378 is an almost exact clone. Down side it come in a very, very small bottle but is quite cheap. Goes a long way if you atomise it though.

They won't ship the aftershave to Canada.
They have this on the AS splashes:

Call me crazy, but I find similar notes in Pinaud's Special Reserve. They're definitely not the same, but to my nose they're sorta in the same ballpark.

I'm going to have to try this one. I can get it in Canada.
I just did a side by side and although the IM is a little 'greener', there are definitely similar notes. A word of caution: the Special Reserve is pretty intense, so start with just a little the first time you use it.

So I got my bottle of Clubman Special Reserve earlier this week. I got around to taking a sniff. It is pretty intense indeed but does have similarities to the Moos cream. I'm going to wait until Saturday to take it out for a spin. May need to cut it with wh to tone down the strength a little but it smells good to me.
