Solution to spillage of Alt Innsbruck.

Do you also spill lots of Alt Innsbruck while trying to get some in the palm of your hand?

You know those little plastic things inside a small EO bottle to drip the oil out? Those fit also in the AI bottle.
When you take out the white thing on the inside of the cap then the bottle closes as before.
Voila, no more spillage as you can control the flow now.

And yes, it wasn't love at first sight but right now I'm reaching to AI most of the time.
Move over Floïds, Proraso, Hattric, Pitralon and others!

Heresy! I just got my 400ml bottle of Floid Blue (not as readily available here in the States). I'll take it over AI any day of the week!

(But yes....in some of the smaller bottles, it does seem that you spill too much of the product out. Not sure what the solution of this is other than to buy more!)

You are just biased because Floïd is rare in the US. :tongue_sm
I don't mind spilling with my 400ml bottle of Floïd blue or original.
Not because I don't like them but because you buy them here online for less than a bottle of AI 100ml.

I don't mind spilling too much on the face but I hate it when it ends on the counter so you have to smear your face over it.

To me, Alt Innsbruck bottle seem to be missing a piece. I bought another bottle and its exactly the same. All you can do is be careful or pour into something else. I also got my bottle of Floid Blue, but it is entirely different from AI, IMO. The only solution is to buy them both!

Here is what I keep mine in.

I would rather go with the thing below to the manufacturer to fill it up. :tongue_sm
Then I wouldn't have to panic 'Horror horror I spilled a drop!' anymore. :001_tongu

That's the straw you drink it with. I'm going to put my Veg in it next, sprinkle a little on and take a swig!

Thats below the belt...I waited like 4 months for mine! :letterk2:

I think Maguire's Barbershop on eBay was selling some vaporizers for the Floïd (400ml). It looked a little cheesy to me so I opted to go without such contraption. Sorry, they don't have it listed though...you have to ask them for it.

Mark is right, thumb control is the best way to control the amount of AS and avoid spillage.

I've heard this before about Alt Innsbruck, but I'm wondering, is the opening just a little too big, or wide open like a bottle of beer/soda?

Not quite that wide, but still wide. I think that it's a combo of AI having a slightly wide opening, and the mouth is set on top of the bottle in a way that makes a little cumbersome to try and pour it out into your hands without wildly splashing product about everywhere but on your face.

+1 on the thumb method. I do like the orifice reducer/blockers, though.:thumbup1:

I love the scent of Alt Innsbruck but the menthol throws me off. I never had a problem applying it to my face though.

Al raz.
