Solingen travel razor, any info on this straight?

Got this the other day as it looked perfect to take with me when I go away to the inlaws (saves squashing my Thiers Issard into a toothbrush case).

It's honing up quite nicely but I've no idea who made it. All it says is Solingen on the blade itself, there are no makers stamps on the tang (or anywhere else come to it). The scabbard is also plain.

Can anyone shed any info on who made it etc. Thanks.

Cheers, had to snap it up straight away when I saw it - perfect for holls or weekends away. I've seen other branded razors using scales/sheaths similar to this.

Anyone have an idea who made it? I haven't a clue but I guess as a generalisation I've read Solingen blades are pretty good even the unbranded ones.

im asuming there are no stamps on the tang - in which case unless you can find another one where someone knows more, you wont be able to find out who made it

I'd say without measuring it the blade is about 5/8

Man, if someone made scales/cover in this style for sale, I'd definitely buy some. Very nifty looking.

The thread is old, so I hoped that some infos came in.

I got one too.
No markings on the tang except "Solingen" and the same etched on the blade.


And, it shaves surprising well.

Any ideas who does it?

The case is convenient, but those scales in fake marble are so ugly...
