I believe that in most lines, finest is different from silvertip. And I'm pretty sure that though Rooney calls their brush a "Super", it's the same as the silvertip in other brands.

True. Almost all brands I've seen have a finest, and a silvertip. From what I gather, the Rooney "super" is like a silvertip, and the Rooney "finest" is like hair from a rare breed of badger or something. They just had to be different.

EDIT: Forget to mention the lovely list put together in the wiki. This explains all the different hair grades for each company.
