I have a DMT W7C. I just dislike how it roughens the surface and changes the feedback from the stone a bit. I depend a lot on the feedback from the stone when honing.

I like the DMT-W6FP. I used a 1.2K grit, found it got clogged to quickly.
One more vote for the slurry stone. Looks better, works better, feels better.
