Slim Last Qtr Turn

I have a Slim, date code H1. Last quarter turn for lock down seems stiffer than my fatboy and super adjustable. Is that normal? Or some crud in it maybe? It's not real, real hard to turn and lock the blade, but it is just stiffer as mentioned. Your thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

Don't have any idea bout the Slim but I have a Fat Boy that has the same symptom. One of the FBs opens and closes smoothly but the other gets very tight on the last quarter-to-half turn closing. May be some crud in the handle.

I got the same on my Slim.
To me that gives the razor a nice "positive" feel, kind of like a quick-release on a bicycle wheel.
