Slim is my skin's friend for the win!

I think I own somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 adjustables in different styles, but I had yet to try one. I know, I know... sacrilege, but I want to keep my variables down until I felt more confident in my technique. I got in a user grade Slim yesterday and it cleaned up pretty good, so I decided to give a whirl this morning.

I loaded it up with a feather and set it to 3 for my first pass. Not bad at all. Not quite as aggressive as I expected, so for the 2nd and 3rd pass, I set it to 4. I've used techs, SS (flair and 40's style), and old types so far. I don't know if it is the flatter head or what, but this razor felt really intuitive for me. I still didn't get quite as close as I wanted, so I'll moved to 5 tommorow, but I really like this razor.

The Slim is the closest thing to a favorite I have. There's only one razor in my collection without a practical use for me, and that's the gold-plated Slim Aristocrat that I bought just because I like my regular Slim so much!
