Silver Bar Handle New

Saw this razor in an antique store and would like to know what sort of a price one would expect to see for this razor. The case is silver also, though I don't know if it is the right case for the razor. The razor itself is in pretty good condition with minimal wear on the head and no cracks on the handle. Sorry for the lousy cell phone pics.

I also saw the same sort of case but it had 2 silver blade holders and a red tip razor for only $145.

On the plus side, I picked up an excellent condition D1 TV Special with a case.

The NEW's that come in Silver plating are more rare than the Gold plating. I am pretty sure that is not the right case either. So with that I would guess no more than $35 but that seems a little high just for a common bar NEW. I hope this helps a little

Thanks for the replies. The seller has it priced pretty high but is willing to negotiate, though they will likely not come down to something reasonable.

I think you should stay away from this particular antique store. A little on the way over priced side. The silver New is a nice variant and I would like to have one but I don't think there should be a premium over the gold version. I would pay a little more for the silver version with the thinner handle though. The case isn't right and maybe not even made by Gillette. In any case look elsewhere.

Thanks. I might try and negotiate the price to a normal level. The case is a Gillette due to the markings on the felt in the lid, though what razor goes in it I am not sure. I did pick up the TV Special from the same seller for a good price.

The silver case with the Red Tip for $145 was a different seller.
