Shea Moisture aftershave elixir

This stuff works great. I was noticing bumps on my neck from shaving, maybe too many passes or against the grain too early. Whatever the case maybe, I put this on last night after shaving and things have never been smoother. The sting can be compared to the chemical burn scene in Fight Club, they call it a tingle on the box haha; yeah right. But, the "tingle" dissipates quickly and in the morning I had no more bumps. The elixir has an interesting smell to it, rich citrus that I gather is from the grapefruit extract. Since this already has witch hazel in it I might not be using my Thayers too much anymore except for days I'm not shaving. Picked up the 4 Ounce bottle at Target for $7, its worth a try.

Key ingredients: Aboriginal Tea Tree Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, unrefined African Shea Butter, Vitamins A & E, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Willow Bark Extract, Witch Hazel, grapefruit extract and Birchwood Sap

I've passed over this many, many times at Walmart, because it just seems like an awful lot of oil to me (and I don't really have a bump problem to begin with). But maybe I'll add it to the den clutter if I catch it on sale. Glad to know it works for someone!

Its surprisingly not oily, it has the consistency of witch hazel. I thought it was going to be like a balm but its more like a splash.

I have always wanted to try

I believe this was just on sale at Target too!

Ill wait for more people to chime in, most of their products rate low here.

I picked up some of that and the shave cream at target a while back. The a/s was alright but I thought the shave cream was bad. Yeah that "tingle" was pretty intense lol.

Ditto on the cream... or "shave butter"

Says it can be applied with a brush. Why? It doesn't lather. May as well just slather it on by hand.

It felt fairly protective, but "greasy"... like shaving with straight Noxema... but with a scent (that some find offensive).

Lol I wish some would a been around when I threw a gob of that stuff in my brush. I tried for at least 5 mins to get that to lather.
