Shaving kit travel bag

Searched the forums for this but nothing came up and figured it's a good thing to discuss among frequent travelers like myself. Basically, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a good quality but small shaving travel bag for one's straight blade, strop, soap, etc... I'm not talking about a $10 bag that one can get at any travel store, which is what I currently use, but more along the lines of durable leather, similar in style to what Saddleback Leather Co. sells. Something that can put up with being soaked, dirtied, scuffed up and other forms of abuse but still maintains it's durability and charm.

Hi, Saddleback leather are currently working on a Dopp kit as we speak. It depends on your timescale. Latest news on their Facebook page. Gareth

I am still waiting on the Saddleback Leather kit to be released. I just gave my son a Milano Leather kit bag from Personalization Mall, and I have used a generic leather Dopp Kit I bought at Wilson's Leather for years. I like the more traditional Dopp that opens up compared to a tri-fold or rolled up carrier.

This is a little expensive but I think Orvis make fine luggage and accesories that even the most manliest of men can be proud of.

This is actually the Colonel Littleton bag from this post;

Highly recommend Colonel Littleton. I recently bought one for my dad's 70th birthday.

Check out the leather tri-fold shaving kit.

Resold by Orvis.

I agree it is a beaut of a kit, much nicer than the RedEnvelope version

Timescale is basically whenever a decision is made. Just wanted to see what some good options are. I found the photo of the dopp kit SBL is making but if the final is anything like their prototype, and similar to regular kits on the inside, I'd go with the Col. Littleton. It's a lot more compact and those pouches are a big plus for me as I'd use it for other toiletries too. It'd be pragmatic to wait until SBL is finished with theirs though so thanks for mentioning that news.
