Shavette users.

I dont know if any of you have seen this one, but I thought i might share.

It looks like better quality than the Parker Shavette, http://www.avatardir.com/ava-barber-straight-razor.aspx

Anyone have any experience with these? I also cant seem to find where they are made.

It looks exactly like a "Parker" to me. Same blade holding system at least.

looks sturdier though. The parker shavette i have just feels cheap.

Looks very similar to a Sanguine CoolCut 2.

THIS is what replaced my Parker. The scales on my Parker fell apart after just a couple of shaves. Very disappointing. The Bluebeards revenge has larger, heavier, scales, much more like a traditional straight. I highly recommend. Plus their shave software is pretty damn good, too.

I emailed the company. Apparently all components are stainless steel and it is manufactured in Pakistan. I might grab one one day... Have it bookmarked.

The BBR shavette is a rebranded Sanguine razor.

I had an all stainless Sanguine and sold it because the handle was too heavy and made it unbalanced. The blade holder mechanism and finish were top quality and I could definitely see one with resin scales in my future to accompany my Weck, CJB and Sam Seong. The Weck is an extremely affordable option and makes for a very nice shave experience because of the longer blade.
