Some bitter sweet news as this appears to be Phil’s final collaboration with Semogue. As a huge fan of the previous 24mm LE boar editions, I jumped at the opportunity to pick one up with the new 26.5mm knot in both boar & Mistura. There is also a two-band Finest
These won’t last long as only 50 each were made.

Very very nice! I would buy a Finest in an instant but thankfully the knot is too big for me. I say thankfully as I am trying, and failing, to avoid spending money but.... that sure is a beautiful brush......

I knew these would sell out fast, but wow. Good job pulling the trigger on that Finest don’t have one of those, but I did pick up the 3 Band LE a few months ago, not much backbone, but super soft.

These sold out within hours. A 26.5mm Semogue knot is a unique offering. I managed to get a Finest and am glad I didn't wait and think about it. This release is the final collaboration between The Shave Nook and Semogue. However, I hope to see future collaborations between Phil/BullGoose and Semogue.

Gorgeous brushes from a great maker, but I didn't get along with the forum or care for how it was run.....so I'm out.

Nothing wrong with those cheapies if they work for you. The Omega 48/49, for example, have excellent knots.

+1. I definitely enjoy the Omega 49 that I have. A high quality brush for not too much money ($10). But I also enjoy the Simpson and Shavemac brushes that I paid $100+ for

The Finest and Mistura have some of the best blooms I've seen. Not too much, not too little. The SOC's I had were similar, so another point for consistency. I guess a hybrid shape, but whatever, really like the looks -- and feel -- of them. Congrats on those beauties.
