So for the past six months my regular brush from my shaving stable has been a vintage NOS Ecka shaving brush that is simply amazing. The bloom is perfect size, and I get great lather from it.
That is up until recently. I'm not sure whats going on. I feel like the oils from my pre shave may have affected the brush? Every time (and I mean every, no matter which soap or cream) I try and lather lately, all I can get is this thin liquidy mix, that does nothing for my shave. I've tried shampoo and conditioner but to no avail.
Has anyone else had similar issues? I really hope I can bring this brush back to it's previous glory.
