Me and my fiancee took a trip to london for a couple of days earlier this week and while we were there I booked in for a shave at Trumpers on curzon street. I've enjoyed most of the Trumpers products that i've tried (all except a lavender AS that was horiffic) and I have always wanted to have a straight razor shave from someone that knows what they are doing ( i.e not me).
Well, long story short, it was amazing. The staff were all very polite and friendly. My barber (whos name I cannot remember) gave my face such a wonderful massage. I could have gone to sleep. He applied the sandlewood skinfood very liberally and whipped up a perfect lather.
I had zero irritation and my barber was so gentle it barely felt like there was a blade touching my skin.
Also, it made me smile when the barber seemed shocked and said "you have a tough beard, don't you?" Don't I know it, I shave it everyday.
