How long does it take a Semogue 620 (which has the same knot as a 1520) to reach full blossom when towel dried and stored upright? Mine seems to look better every day. It is used daily and will be for at least the first month for break-in purposes.

I wouldn't expect it to "Bloom" that much honestly its a boar, I believe Leon would want you to dry it upside down.
This is the acrylic handle yes? How does it feel?
I've been using mine for more than a month and I think it's in its peek. But don't store it upright, hang it upside down to prevent water to destroy the knot base.
At least, don't put it upright in the first 24 hours. After shaving, I clean and dry the brush and put it upside down in the brush stand in my counter and leave it there. In my next shave, if I'm going to use another brush, I'll put that one in the brush stand and grab the one that got used in my previous shave and store it upright, since it passed several hours from its last use.
So, my brush stand is always with the last brush I used. My other brushes are stored away, standing upright.
