I’m a committed fan of the humble boar shaving brush…can’t recall the last time I used a badger one.
Face lathered with the fab A26 unbleached
Zenith….can’t say they’re better at making lather than my Omegas but the quality of construction is exceptional. Reasonably priced too.
Classic Tech shave . Smooth, irritation free, easy.

This month seemed to fly by quicker than I expected, as did this year too. However for the last few days I'd been counting down the hours at times; well if I knew at the start of the year two of my best friends would suddenly I wouldn't have believed what I heard, but sometimes life throws you a few spanners in the works for you to deal with. Right now, I'm just happy to have the year of 2024 behind me.
I've found shaving to be a way to clear the cobwebs in the head once again, I think I needed this month of DecemBoar tbh, so thanks to SharpieB for running this great participation thread as ever.

I hope to see you all again in 2025!

Also, Happy New Year gents. I wish you all the best for the year ahead of you all.

Thanks @SharpieB, Decemboar has been quite enjoyable! I finished the month with this beautiful brush from the artist, craftsman, & gentleman @Rudy Vey using a knot from an Omega Premium Jade. Guess what I call it? It’s tricky. Rudy Vey Omega Premium Jade! And it performs as good as it looks!

Last night’s eve of New Year’s Eve shave
RazoRock Game Changer 0.68OC
Cloud Bruce Lee (2)
Damp facecloth aka “shave binky”
Ω 10048 28mm boar brush
Pre-shave: Al’s layering method more or less
Lather: Wee Babby siavon à raser, bowl-loaded; face-lathered
Aftershave: Olm Nom
Post-shave: warm shower and a drop of hyaluronic acid and a drop of glycerin
Post-shave: Equate moisturizer

Used more soap and had more closeness and comfort. Ω10048 truly a pleasure when it’s broken in. And a “we use this because steel bristles are too floppy” brush until then. Past writings from @RayClem , @Cino , and @tjsgarden helped me get the best out of this brush. DecemBOAR was a blast. If I shave tonight, it’ll be after midnight, so this was my last DecemBOAR shave.
